Job Title: Agricultural Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to lead the development and management of Union Farm, a heritage farm at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement farm management strategies to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Manage a range of livestock, including heavy horses and cattle, and ensure their welfare and healthcare.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, both traditional and modern.
  • Work with the public, audiences, and colleagues to provide excellent customer service and promote the heritage farm.
  • Collaborate with the wider heritage site team to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or industry-recognized qualification.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good computer literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience in farm management, heritage farming, and working with the public.
