We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Design Engineer to join our team at Renishaw's Spectroscopy Products Division. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing and testing new cutting-edge Raman instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the design team to design and develop new Raman instrumentation
- Conduct system and sample testing to ensure optimal performance
- Plan and conduct experiments as part of the instrument design process
- Provide technical content for marketing literature, including videos, webinars, and written literature
- Good working knowledge of optical physics and/or Raman spectroscopy
- Degree in physics, or relevant scientific / numerate discipline
- MSc or PhD in Optics / Photonics /Physics / Raman spectroscopy
- Experience using Raman spectroscopy or other spectroscopy equipment and software
