Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and plan activities to promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people.
- Allocate staff to ensure adequate coverage and support during shifts.
- Provide supervision and guidance to Residential Support Workers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, parents, carers, and professional agencies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to ensure up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
- Ability to engage and build positive relationships with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Capacity to implement boundaries and ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Empathy, emotional resilience, and self-awareness.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
