About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children and young people in our care. This will involve supporting them with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and helping them to achieve their personal goals.

You will work closely with the children and young people to understand their individual needs and develop a care plan that meets their requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe living environment, and ensuring that the children and young people are engaged in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people with their daily needs, including personal care and hygiene
  • Encourage and support children and young people to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
  • Develop and maintain a care plan that meets the individual needs of each child and young person
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Work closely with other members of the team to ensure that the children and young people receive the best possible care and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with children, young people, and other members of the team.

You will need to have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as you may be required to transport children and young people to appointments and activities.
