About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss department, you will play a vital role in supporting our principal fee earners in case preparation and investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate high value claims, covering policy coverage to litigation, gathering evidence and supporting principal fee earners in case preparation
  • Manage complex, specialised cases related to catastrophic injuries and large loss
  • Approach cases with care, sensitivity and empathy due to their sensitive nature
  • Take statements from witnesses, investigate claims and review medical records

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in general or specialised personal injury law or civil litigation, or a commercial litigation background
  • Strong litigation knowledge and ability to provide support to clients
  • Previous experience working within personal injury is required
