About the Role

Clyde & Co is seeking a skilled Paralegal / Senior Paralegal to join our Volume Motor Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of litigated matters, working closely with counsel and other professionals to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 files at any given time, ensuring timely and efficient progression of cases.
  • Handle all procedural aspects of cases from issue to trial, including drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements.
  • Assess claims for special damages and demonstrate expertise in valuing personal injuries using JC Guidelines and case law.
  • Develop strong relationships with counsel, claimant's solicitors, and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills and case management systems to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of Management Information and adherence to client Service Level Agreements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Motor/RTA litigation is essential, with a strong understanding of the relevant laws and regulations.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional manner and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
