We are in search of a proactive store assistant to become a vital part of Cancer Research UK's retail team. In this role, you will represent Cancer Research UK, ensuring that your store serves as a hub for the community to connect with our organization, learn about our initiatives, and appreciate the impactful work we do.

In a dynamic and engaging work environment, you will encounter new experiences daily, whether it’s discovering the latest retail trends, building community connections, or uncovering hidden talents.

You will be surrounded by individuals who share your commitment to fighting cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering exceptional service to customers and supporters. Collaborating effectively with the shop team to meet ambitious sales and fundraising goals. Assisting in maintaining shop standards, including visual merchandising, compliance, and safety protocols. Building relationships with the local community and colleagues at Cancer Research UK. Supporting fundraising initiatives to achieve store targets. Assuming keyholder responsibilities as necessary (training will be provided).

Desired Skills:

A solid understanding of excellent customer service. Experience in a fast-paced customer service setting. Ability to manage your own tasks and work independently when needed. Strong teamwork skills. Outstanding communication abilities.

Ideally, you will also have:

An interest or background in fashion. Previous retail experience.
