About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Home Bargains. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and pricing information.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
  • Contribute to the visual merchandising of the store, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
