As a Senior Risk Management Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and oversight of essential standards within the normative documentation, including the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF), Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), and Risk Management Framework (RMF) for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the annual update process for the RAF, RAS, and RMF, ensuring alignment with Group documentation and regulatory expectations.
- Prepare comprehensive and precise documentation, along with related summaries, to facilitate effective communication.
- Enhance the risk identification and assessment framework, conducting periodic campaigns to identify and assess risks.
- Review and challenge key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk factors and capital management aspects.
- Stay informed about business, regulatory, and market developments, providing insights to strengthen risk management practices.
- Prepare impact summaries related to regulatory changes and create documentation for governance forums.
- Lead and participate in projects as necessary, fostering a robust risk culture and sound governance.
- Engage in the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) as part of the SGIL.
Profile Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A profound understanding of enterprise risk management within a banking context.
- Extensive experience in developing Risk Management Frameworks, Risk Appetite, and capital management.
- Solid knowledge of ESG risk factors and experience in their assessment and management.
- Ability to analyze internal and external risk trends and articulate their impact on deliverables.
- Strong teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach and excellent emotional intelligence.
- Proven project management capabilities and impactful leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in delivering structured presentations and writing governance documentation.
- A meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a knack for innovation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- A passion for learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
