Rotational Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career and gain specialist clinical skills, support and supervise others, and participate in service development.
Key Responsibilities- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of medical conditions.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, using your expertise to drive positive change.
- Supervise and support junior staff and students, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Participate in audit and quality improvement activities, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Post-qualification experience in a physical setting, with evidence of personal and professional development.
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team, with the ability to lead and influence others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Understanding of common medical and surgical conditions, care of the elderly, neurology, trauma, and orthopaedics.
