Business Operations Administrator - Quality and Safety

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Integrated Care Board Quality and Safety Team to support colleagues in delivering high-quality business operations. The post holder will provide administrative support across the breadth of the team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of business management services.

The post holder will work as part of a team delivering an efficient and effective Business Management Support service to the Quality and Safety Team within the Integrated Care Board.

Main Responsibilities
  • As the first point of contact for the team, manage a range of queries and issues from colleagues, service users, and other organizations.
  • Ensure complaints, comments, and suggestions are dealt with sensitively and helpfully, referring on as needed.
  • Collaborate with other administrators/PAs across the organization to provide an effective network of communication, including dealing with visitors and being flexible to cover other administrators' general duties.
  • Promote a positive image of the Service in all dealings.
Person SpecificationExperience
  • Experience of working in an office or team environment.
Skills and Competencies
  • Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised, within defined policies and procedures.
  • Able to use tact and persuasion to support problem-solving.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software such as Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
  • NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Awareness of health services provision.
