Lead Technical Sales Advisor

SRG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technical Sales Advisor to join their team. As the point of contact for current and prospective clients, you will be responsible for providing complex solutions for their chemical and hazardous waste requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently handle customer queries and provide prompt, methodical, and professional responses.
  • Produce technical sales quotations and communicate them to customers, converting them into completed sales.
  • Understand client business needs and provide complex solutions in a timely manner, taking into account waste and chemical waste complexities.
  • Arrange for sample collection from customer sites for laboratory analysis, as necessary.
  • Gather technical information and identify other potential services that could be provided.
  • Build rapport and establish relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemistry, ideally, or HNC in Chemistry as a minimum essential.
  • Knowledge of waste-related legislation, including Hazardous Waste Regulations, WM3, DGSA, PPC, TFS, and ADR, highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in customer service and/or sales, desirable.
  • At least 1 year's experience working in Waste Management, essential.
  • Working knowledge of Waste Treatment Processing Plant operations, desirable.
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, desirable.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Business acumen and organisational skills.
