Main Responsibilities

As a Practice Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting asthma and COPD reviews, providing expert care and guidance to patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Working closely with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Providing general and specific health screenings to patients, with referrals to GPs as necessary.
  • Offering advice on general healthcare and minor ailments, with referrals to GPs as necessary.

Our team at St Albans Medical Centre is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and service. We are a medium-sized practice with a supportive and collaborative team environment. Our team includes 6 GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, and other healthcare and administrative support staff.
