Overview of the Position
The HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic human resources guidance to senior operational leaders while executing the divisional HR and balanced business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Offer strategic and operational HR counsel to the divisional Senior Leadership Team and their Regional Management teams, participating in senior leadership and operational meetings as necessary.
- Assist in the execution of extensive TUPE transfers and manage local consultation processes (e.g., redundancies, salary negotiations, organizational changes, etc.).
- Provide essential employee and industrial relations support, focusing on trade union collaboration, high-level grievances, disciplinary actions, and other employment law matters.
- Collaborate with regional management teams to implement significant employee relations initiatives and projects.
- Partner with operational teams to create succession plans and foster the development of management personnel.
- Champion and advance the employee engagement agenda, particularly by aiding in the completion and execution of engagement strategies.
- Develop and mentor line managers to ensure proficient people management, reducing risks associated with employee relations activities.
- Execute the Divisional HR Strategy, thereby contributing to the Division's Balanced Business Plan (BBP).
- Lead and assist with people analytics to provide insights that enhance management decision-making.
- Play a crucial role in facilitating people change and organizational development, ensuring that impacts are effectively managed.

Essential Qualifications
- CIPD qualified at Level 5.
- Proven experience in executing projects within a trade unionized setting, including restructuring initiatives, organizational transformations, and TUPE/acquisition processes.
- Capability to support senior managers in engaging with local and regional Trade Union representatives during local pay negotiations and other trade union matters.
- A robust understanding of performance management, talent management, and succession planning.
