Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: £80 to £100 per day (based on experience)

Overview:

As a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning requirements. Your commitment to fostering an inclusive environment will greatly benefit the educational journey of these learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering tailored educational experiences for students with special needs.
  • Provide individualized support to enhance student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to create and implement personalized learning strategies.
  • Recognize and nurture each student's unique abilities and challenges.
  • Encourage positive learning behaviors and maintain an effective classroom atmosphere.
  • Manage classroom dynamics to promote a conducive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with Special Educational Needs students.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong passion for supporting the development and welfare of students with special needs.
  • Current DBS check on the update service is required for safeguarding purposes.
