About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients with stroke.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the stroke team, ensuring high-quality care and effective communication among team members.
  • Develop and implement clinical pathways and training plans to improve patient outcomes and team performance.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to drive service development and improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of research and development, with strong links to local universities.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to team members, promoting their professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy, with HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate study relevant to clinical area, at Masters level or equivalent.
  • Significant experience clinically in the area of specialism, with a strong background in stroke care.
  • Experience of clinical leadership, delegation, and team management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and negotiate.
