About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Aspris College North Wales. As a specialist further education college for learners with Autistic Spectrum Condition and associated conditions, we provide tailored support in education, independence, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide occupational therapy services to students with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote independence, social skills, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to inform therapy plans and monitor progress.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless support and coordination.
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, particularly those with Autistic Spectrum Condition and associated conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy.
