About the Role

Aaban Partnership Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Estate Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for the effective management of the estate to ensure ongoing and sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond flexibly to fluctuating demands to meet current and developing business challenges.
  • Possess estate management acumen, sound judgement and a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Work diplomatically across the organization to ensure that the estate supports the provision of effective service delivery in a challenging setting.
Strategic Development

Contributes to formulating Aaban's Estate Strategy, that meets or exceeds compliance with CQC regulations, by assisting in the evaluation of site and usage options and proposing creative and inspiring suggestions for improvements.

Maintenance of Grounds and Buildings

Ensures that the fabric, fixtures and fittings of the existing estate is maintained to a high standard and meets Aaban's current and future needs.

Provision of Utilities and Estate Services

Ensures all utilities provision, including water, gas and electricity is effectively managed and that usage is cost effective and minimises wastage.

Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Security of the Estate

Acts as Aaban's Health & Safety Coordinator. Works closely with clinical colleagues to assess, reduce and mitigate risk.

Operational Matters

Liaises with the Unit Managers to ensure the catering facilities and equipment are maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • Awareness of CQC regulations, particularly regulation 15.
  • Experience of working effectively with staff and management at all levels.
  • Experience of liaising effectively with building users, external consultants and external contractors.
  • Experience of contract management.
  • Experience of basic building maintenance and providing facilities services within business premises.

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • Recognised facilities/estate management qualification.
  • Experience of tendering and procurement.
  • Clean UK driving license.
