Position Overview

Role: Lead Casualty Claims Specialist

Reports to: Manager of Casualty and Financial Lines Claims

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Finitas is excited to collaborate with a distinguished Lloyd's Managing General Agent (MGA) to recruit two experienced claims professionals for their expanding casualty division. This position offers a unique chance to join a firm celebrated for its excellence in claims administration and exceptional client relations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that claims are managed to the highest standards, adhering to Lloyd's principles and internal protocols.
  • Oversee assigned claims to ensure timely resolutions, with a focus on reducing claims duration and outstanding claims.
  • Evaluate intricate information, investigate coverage matters, assess claims liability, and engage in negotiations with involved parties.
  • Precisely evaluate and identify patterns, managing external service providers and third-party administrators to guarantee superior results.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing casualty claims (experience in professional lines is preferred).
  • Proficiency in auditing third-party administrators, coverholders, and legal representatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with US legal jurisdictions.
