Position Overview

In the role of Electricity Billing and Reconciliation Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity of electricity data as it flows into our billing systems, thus guaranteeing precise electricity settlements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collecting meter readings from customer locations in alignment with industry standards
  • Identifying and addressing data collection challenges from half-hourly sites
  • Reviewing and validating data prior to its entry into the billing platform
  • Inputting actual or estimated data into the system as required
  • Ensuring that settlement performance aligns with industry benchmarks
  • Coordinating compliance inspections for meters
  • Collaborating with external service providers to ensure timely project completion
  • Addressing exceptions from data aggregators and resolving trading discrepancies

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of the customer lifecycle and its interdependencies
  • Demonstrated history of providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with the energy sector and settlement procedures is advantageous
