Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Risk Management Framework: Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance Director to design and implement a comprehensive Risk Management Framework that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Routine Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring the firm's operations are in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  3. Compliance Monitoring: Work closely with business areas to monitor the firm's compliance with regulations and internal policies, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  4. Employee Education: Collaborate with the Head of Training to educate employees on compliance regulations and internal policies, highlighting the importance of compliance and the consequences of non-compliance.
  5. Assessment Findings and Follow-up: Record assessment findings accurately and follow up with management to ensure issues are addressed and resolved.
  6. Regulatory Requests: Assist in gathering information internally in response to requests from regulatory organizations, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  7. Collaboration and Control: Work with management from other departments to ensure compliance and investigate irregularities, contributing to robust and effective controls within the firm.
  8. Policy Reviews: Support the Risk & Compliance Director and other managers in completing policy reviews, ensuring policies are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  9. Consumer Duty: Ensure that service delivery, processes, and procedures are created and implemented in accordance with Consumer Duty, minimizing harm to consumers.
  10. Compliance and Procedures: Comply with the firm's relevant processes and procedures at all times, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  11. Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory, product, legislative, and technical requirements, ensuring the firm remains compliant and competitive.
  12. AML File Reviews: Undertake AML file reviews to ensure adequate systems and controls are in place to manage the firm's exposure to financial crime risks.
  13. AML Training: Support AML training activity, ensuring employees are equipped to identify and mitigate financial crime risks.
