Compliance and Risk Management Specialist

Position Summary:

  • The Compliance and Risk Management Specialist will oversee compliance and assurance initiatives across all global operations for our client.
  • Develop and revise pertinent Policies, Procedures, and Processes to align with global standards and local adaptations.
  • Identify, document, and manage Risks, ensuring effective tracking and oversight of Risk actions.
  • Evaluate and analyze Key Controls globally within Information Security, escalating any identified deficiencies.
  • Engage in risk management, control, compliance, and assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular evaluations to uncover vulnerabilities in the Information Security Control environment.
  • Collaborate with auditors during review processes, ensuring prompt provision of information and addressing any findings.
  • Assist Information Security teams in testing, evidence collection, and submission for control effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support for control evaluations to personnel.
  • Work closely with various teams to gather information and evidence for applications.
  • Support the remediation of Information Security controls and establish ongoing audit requests.
  • Ensure that change management processes support Information Security controls for all applications.
  • Coordinate with the database team and support partners to maintain data integrity and management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in formulating policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of IT governance and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel/PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Experience in risk management and control evaluations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as ITIL, COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001.
