Premier Work Support is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Value Tracking & Continuous Improvement Leader for a prestigious manufacturing client in a prominent location.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who enjoy working closely with procurement teams, supply chain leaders, and finance teams to develop robust standardized processes and deliver accurate data to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Price and Cash Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate price and cash forecasts for direct materials and indirect commodities, savings, and cash generation.
  • Monthly and Quarterly Segment Price Forecasting: Own the monthly and quarterly segment price forecasting process, including direct materials and indirect commodities, savings, and cash generation.
  • Material Key Drivers Reports: Generate monthly material key drivers reports to provide stakeholders with visibility of direct materials, energy, and logistics price forecasts and associated spend variances.
  • Procurement and Stakeholder Management: Maintain close, cooperative relationships with procurement and stakeholder teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Internal Control Requirements: Ensure that internal control requirements are met in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Value Creation and Continuous Improvement: Provide additional support to the procurement organization through value creation enable work, cost and cash program governance, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Procurement Lead: Work with amplified commodity and direct and indirect category teams to ensure the provision of accurate regional price forecasting data for key commodities and services, along with savings and cash generation forecasting, in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Benchmarking and Value Pipeline Build: Support external and internal benchmarking and value pipeline build activities.
  • Standard Work and Training: Support the development of standard work and relevant training materials for the organization.
  • Cost and Cash Governance: Assist the overall cost and cash governance with category teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Provide support with other continuous improvement projects to simplify, standardize, and automate processes.

Personal Attributes:

  • Procurement Experience: Experience in direct materials procurement would be advantageous.
  • Quantitative and Data Analysis Skills: Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Problem-Solving Experience: Problem-solving experience in simplifying and standardizing processes.
  • Financial Skills: Strong financial skill set and understanding of business unit and enterprise forecasting processes.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in stakeholder management.
