We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Handler Team Leader to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing and developing a team of account handlers, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive commercial insurance service to existing and potential new customers, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage and develop a team of account handlers, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to ensure they meet their targets and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the commercial director to set and achieve business objectives, targets, and budgets.
  • Carry out regular appraisals and performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting their potential.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the team, including monitoring holidays, sickness, and performance.
  • Identify and acquire new customers for the business, building relationships with existing clients and insurers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Advanced commercial insurance knowledge and experience, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under own initiative, with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a strong desire to continuously improve and develop skills and knowledge.
