Apprentice Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced credit controller to join our finance team at our headquarters in Warrington. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting aged debt, investigating queries, and processing invoices.
Main Responsibilities:- Proactively manage and collect aged debt/new debt via telephone and email.
- Investigate and resolve queries related to non-payment of invoices.
- Process and generate reminder letters and monthly statements.
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
- Process and reconcile invoices.
- Manage customer credit limits and insurance limits, and communicate with the insurer and customer.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Sage 50.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of MS Office Excel.
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to reconcile complex accounts.
- Accurate, efficient, and organized individual.
- Ability to prioritize tasks as needed, while remaining professional and approachable.
- Competitive salary from £25,000.00 plus depending on experience.
