Commercial and Sales Director

Hybrid/London office

We're seeking a dedicated professional to drive the commercial development of our Fleet Electrification and Energy Flexibility activities. As a Commercial and Sales Director, you'll be responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new customer relationships, and increasing revenue and profits.

The role will involve:

  • Engaging with account managers and contract managers to promote our electrification and flexibility offerings
  • Collaborating with customers across various business units to gather feedback and improve our services
  • Driving commercial discussions with customers to secure contracts
  • Developing and maintaining a sound commercial strategy aligned with our business development strategy
  • Engaging with industry partners and contractors to strengthen and develop our offers and competitiveness
  • Exploring and applying for relevant grants or financing solutions for our services or innovation projects
  • Monitoring market trends and policies, and engaging with policy, comms, and strategy teams as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, energy, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role with client exposure
  • Ability to travel in the UK and Europe when required
  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams on simultaneous projects
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
