Job Title: French Lead Writer

Join Apple's Marketing Communications team as a French Lead Writer and take ownership of localizing marketing and communication materials for French-language markets.

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled French writer to create compelling content that resonates with our French-speaking audiences. As a French Lead Writer, you'll be responsible for translating US English copy into local-market language while preserving the intended message, voice, and tone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creatively translate marketing copy into French while maintaining the original intent and brand tone.
  • Develop and own the origination of copy for local marketing initiatives in French-language markets.
  • Collaborate with strategy, brand, and creative teams to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Advise language agency writers and editors to maintain Apple writing standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, cultural evolution, and socio-political events in the market.
Requirements
  • Expertise in French language and culture.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing communications and localization principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
