The Role: Construction T Level Examiner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction T Level Examiner to join our team. As an examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of assessments for T Levels, innovative courses designed in collaboration with industry experts to prepare students for successful careers in construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and consistent marking to maintain high assessment standards.
  • Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader as required.
  • Adhere to established marking deadlines and milestones.
  • Complete all administrative tasks diligently and efficiently.
  • Participate actively in standardization sessions to ensure consistency across assessments.
  • Mark student scripts within the designated timeframe.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year's teaching or assessment experience within the last 8 years in Construction at Level 3.
  • Degree or equivalent work-based qualification in Construction.
  • Recent occupational experience in relevant job titles within the construction industry.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Competencies Required:

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Construction for accurate and informed marking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
