Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Breast Care

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Breast Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with breast-related conditions. This role requires a strong clinical background, leadership skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of clinical practice and standards of care within the Breast Care Service.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to develop policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Work autonomously as an advanced practitioner within the speciality, managing a caseload of patients and delivering individualized direct patient care.
  • Participate in research projects, disseminating and ensuring the utilization of research results to change practice.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in a specific speciality or equivalent experience.
  • Recognized Advanced Health Assessment qualification (Minimum Masters level course).
  • Able to use skills of history taking and physical assessment to direct patient care.
  • Evidence of planning and organizational skills.
  • Proved listening and counseling skills with the ability to manage complex situations and appropriately deliver sensitive and difficult outcomes.
