About the Role:
As a Care Assistant at HC-One, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals.
- Delivering a level of care that truly comes from the heart, ensuring our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality.
- Getting involved in general activities within the care home, such as helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid or offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident.
- Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and you will be required to recognise the signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns.
