Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Director to join our client's senior leadership team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of the company's ecommerce channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the ecommerce channel, identifying new trading opportunities and establishing effective working processes.
  • Develop and implement the ecommerce strategy, vision, and ways of working, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead the ecommerce agenda, monitoring channel performance, delivering the trade plan, and customer development plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a coherent and best-in-class user and consumer experience.
  • Drive performance understanding of ecommerce channels and provide executive reporting.
  • Share commercial and consumer intelligence to upskill key stakeholders and drive business growth across digital channels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior ecommerce role within a major FMCG or consumer product business.
  • Understanding and experience of direct-to-consumer ecommerce and digital retail marketplaces/platforms, ideally for a creatively driven business.
  • Strong track record of successfully growing online sales performance, within budget and a long-term strategy, ideally through a matrix team.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience of developing and sustaining key internal and external relationships, performance management, and people development.
