Software Tester and Quality Assurance Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our IT team as a Junior Software Tester and Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, documenting issues, and working closely with developers and other teams to ensure smooth and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand user stories and technical design documents to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that software meets requirements and is free from defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Identify opportunities for process and service improvements and develop recommendations for implementation.
  • Provide IT support and answer queries during User Acceptance Testing.
  • Aid with technical document creation and provide input on documentation.
Key Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, ClickUp, SQL, C#, Classic ASP, or Java is a plus.
