As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be part of a collaborative environment that values strong communication and customer service skills. We welcome candidates with experience in healthcare settings, as well as those who possess a variety of transferable skills.
This is a part-time position, requiring 16 hours per week. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team, manage multiple tasks, and maintain professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in written and spoken English, along with a courteous telephone manner, is essential. Attention to detail and adherence to protocols are key components of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the practice and serve as a primary point of contact for patients and staff.
- Assist patients in navigating healthcare services and connecting with the appropriate professionals in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Support the practice team by fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors, whether in person or over the phone.
- Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Address patient inquiries and complaints following established protocols.
- Offer reliable support to the secretarial team, clinicians, and patients.
