Job Title: Health and Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team at Vertiv in Campsie, Northern Ireland. This role will report directly to the EHS Manager and work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and implement measures to prevent incidents and accidents.
  • Develop and implement a culture of safety first, promoting hazard awareness and the importance of correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and manage documentation accordingly.
  • Support the Production Supervisor in identifying and delivering team members' performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within production areas.
  • Develop an audit process and schedule to support the site's needs.
  • Communicate any changes to operating instructions to all Team Leaders.
  • Work closely with production supervisor, Manager, and Project Engineers to ensure deadlines are met while complying with H&S procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • NEBOSH Certified or Higher with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Accuracy and consistency.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Experience in a predominantly site-based role (desirable).
  • NEBOSH Diploma/Degree qualified (desirable).
