About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Coach to join our team at Toynbee Hall. As a Financial Coach, you will play a vital role in providing expert financial guidance and support to our clients, helping them to manage their debt and improve their financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Guidance and Support
  • Deliver financial capability workshops to promote financial resilience and wellbeing.
  • Provide one-to-one financial coaching sessions to clients, using sensitive listening and questioning skills to empower them to set their own priorities.
  • Assess clients' financial situations and provide tailored advice and guidance.
  • Signpost clients to internal and external agencies where required, including issuing foodbank vouchers.
  • Case Management
  • Maintain detailed case records, ensuring compliance with auditing and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on client engagement and outcomes from coaching sessions.
  • Professional Development
  • Complete a minimum of 16 hours of technical CPD accredited training or qualifying activity.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of all training sessions.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve agreed work-plans and targets.
  • Be an active member of the team, identifying opportunities for development and improvement.
  • Compliance and Governance
  • Comply with Toynbee Hall policies and procedures, including health and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of debt advice experience.
  • Valid Money Advice Service accredited qualification in debt advice to level three or higher.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work in person.
