Exciting Opportunity in Organizational Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Organizational Development Manager to join our team at Essex County Council. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and implementing organizational development strategies that align with our goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Organizational Development Specialists to provide expert support and advice on organizational change initiatives
  • Design, evaluate, and evolve organizational development policies and interventions to drive positive change and improve employee engagement
  • Champion thought leadership to drive innovation and influence decision-making at a senior level
  • Manage complex conversations and provide professional advice to resolve organizational issues
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement organizational development strategies aligned with our priorities

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or equivalent certification
  • Extensive experience in managing cultural and behavioral change in a complex environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of project and program management approaches
