We are seeking a highly motivated Market Analyst to join our Greater China Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring project pipelines, emerging technologies, and contractors in the offshore wind and marine energy markets within Greater China and providing valuable information to our global subscriber base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the offshore wind and marine energy markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to our global subscriber base through various channels, including reports, articles, and presentations.
  • Assist with business development activities, including identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information systems, including databases and spreadsheets.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Team-working oriented.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude who takes responsibility for the completeness and quality of their work.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to cold-call in order to gather insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Any experience of the following is beneficial: Additional language skills, knowledge strong numerical skills, statistical, knowledge of MS Access/SQL, knowledge of Geographical Information Systems.
  • More than one year of experience working in the energy industry will be given priority.
Working Hours & Wages
  • 5 days per week (37.5 hours) office based.
  • Salary dependent on experience from £26.771 Per Annum
