Key Responsibilities- Coordinate responses to enquiries from internal and external partners, elected members, and the general public.
- Coordinate and minute operational and strategic level meetings and Boards.
- Provide general administrative and business support functions to the team.
- Raise requisitions for goods and services commissioned by the team.
- Support the team with funding applications and performance reporting to MOPAC/VRU via Flexigrant.
The Community Safety Team, also known as Safer Sutton Partnership, is a small team co-located at Sutton Police Station and the Civic Offices. As part of the Targeted Early Help & Integrated Support Service within Sutton Children's Services- People Directorate, the team works closely with the Metropolitan Police and various partners to enhance safety for residents and visitors in the London Borough of Sutton.
About You- The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading administrative/business support functions in a multi-agency setting.
- They will need to be well-organized, demonstrate initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with a wide range of individuals, from senior leaders to members of the public.
- Previous experience communicating with elected members is desirable.
- Proficiency in using Business World/Agresso and Google suite products is also desirable.
