We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Material Planner to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing our suppliers' portfolio to ensure timely delivery of goods in the right quantity and place.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and manage risk.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure contractual agreements are reflected in our ERP system.
- Communicate delivery needs to suppliers using dedicated tools.
- Monitor supplier performance KPIs and participate in supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to supply chain objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are aligned.
- Manage purchase requisitions and create material planning documents for internal and external suppliers.
- Analyze supplier confirmations versus Alstom needs and evaluate risk/impact anticipation on production/projects.
- Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions.
- Organize regular reviews with suppliers to check delivery status and performance.
- Analyze and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems.
- Resolve goods receipts issues and ensure non-conformities replacement through NCR process.
- Analyze and share delivery performance KPIs with stakeholders.
