The Opportunity: Trusts & Estates Tax Associate Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trusts & Estates Tax Associate Director to join our growing National Private Assurance team. In this role, you will play a key part in providing comprehensive tax services to a diverse portfolio of UK and offshore trust and estate clients.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex tax matters related to trusts and estates, including IHT reporting and compliance.
  • Review and approve trust tax returns and accounts prepared by the team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax efficiency for clients, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and case law.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and process improvements within the team.
  • Contribute to the growth of the advisory practice by developing new business relationships and expanding existing client portfolios.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing and advising on trusts and estates, with a strong understanding of UK tax legislation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle complex tax issues effectively.
