The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist at Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, as well as processing payments and handling guest complaints.
  • Assist guests with information about the hotel and local area, including directions, recommendations, and making reservations.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to emails, and maintain accurate records of guest interactions.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, with knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in using software such as MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, be flexible and adaptable to changes, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
