Position Overview: Technical Authority - Process Safety
We are seeking a Technical Authority - Process Safety to become a vital part of BW Offshore's Technical Assurance Team based in Aberdeen. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring adherence to technical standards, offering expert guidance, and enhancing the quality of engineering documentation and tools. Your proficiency in Process Safety engineering, along with your knowledge of Accommodation and HVAC systems, will be crucial in managing significant accident risks and safety-critical components.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Process Safety Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 15 years of experience in the offshore Oil & Gas sector, particularly with FPSO projects and operations
- Previous roles as a Principal Engineer / Lead Engineer, Technical Authority / Subject Matter Expert

- Proficient in conceptual thinking and results-driven
- Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Organized and analytical in approach to tasks
