About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Authority - Process Safety to join our Technical Assurance Team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our FPSO assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our Technical Standards, defining the minimum requirements for new and operating assets.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to our teams, ensuring compliance with industry rules and standards.
  • Collaborate with Projects and Asset Operations to develop and review Safety Cases and manage Safety Critical Elements.
  • Participate in incident investigations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Technical Standards and Engineering Documents.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Process Safety Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on Process Safety engineering and design.
  • Previous experience working as a Principal Engineer or Technical Authority is required.
