Accounts Payable Assistant Role:

Castlefield Recruitment is working with a public-sector organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to their team on a part-time basis. The role is a permanent position that offers hybrid working, flexible time, and other great benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high volumes of invoices and generate purchase orders daily
  • Track financial transactions to suppliers and obtain goods and services from suppliers promptly
  • Communicate with the wider Accounts Payable team and compare system reports to better manage Accounts Payable processes
  • Correct and verify invoices, file and maintain supplier records

Requirements:

  • Experience in previous Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and process high volumes of invoices
  • Experience using financial systems with strong Excel skills
  • Exceptional organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of the full P2P process
  • Immediate availability to start the next role
