Accounts Payable Assistant Role:
Castlefield Recruitment is working with a public-sector organisation in the North West who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to their team on a part-time basis. The role is a permanent position which offers flexible working, flexible hours and other great benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high volumes of invoices and generating purchase orders on a daily basis
- Tracking financial transactions to suppliers and obtaining goods and services from suppliers in a timely manner
- Communicating with the wider Accounts Payable team and comparing system reports to better manage Accounts Payable processes
- Correcting and verifying invoices, filing and maintaining supplier records
Requirements:
- Experience in previous Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger roles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and process high volumes of invoices
- Experience using financial systems with strong Excel skills
- Exceptional organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
- Understanding of the full P2P process
- Immediate availability to start the next role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join a public-sector organisation in the North West. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
