About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consumer PR Account Manager to join our dynamic team at McCann Birmingham. As a key member of our PR & Social team, you will play a vital role in delivering sector-leading work for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert consultancy and guidance
  • Drive accounts, campaigns, and PR programmes forward, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Create engaging PR content that resonates with our target audiences
  • Lead on media relations, securing regular sell-ins with key media outlets
  • Provide briefs for other departments and external service providers
  • Manage account teams, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Collaborate with directors to ensure work is delivered on time and to the highest standard
  • Engage with specialist teams across the agency, driving innovation and best practice
  • Measure impact and report results, providing actionable insights for our clients
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned Consumer PR professional with a proven track record in delivering high-quality results. You will have a strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and a keen eye for story. As a confident communicator, you will be able to distill complex information into compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences.

You will have a deep understanding of digital PR and the ability to deliver coverage with backlinks to client websites. Your experience in tourism, hospitality, home, and lifestyle sectors will be highly valued.
