Property Management Leader

Finders Keepers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Department Manager to lead our growing team in Oxford.
As the market leader in Oxfordshire, we pride ourselves on exceptional knowledge and expertise. All property management is handled in-house, ensuring personalized attention and high standards for every client.
Your RoleIn this role, you will oversee a team of dedicated professionals responsible for managing approximately 700 properties. You'll also personally manage a portfolio of properties, demonstrating your expertise in all aspects of property management.
You'll have the autonomy to run your department and portfolio according to established procedures, receiving guidance tailored to your experience level. Collaboration with our letting team ensures seamless operations within the office.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor the Property Management team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, safeguarding both tenants and landlords.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords, providing exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Prepare properties for new tenancies, including inspections and necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
- Conduct property inspections, check-ins, and check-outs, maintaining accurate records.
- Manage rent collection and address any outstanding payments effectively.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure smooth operations across the company.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in property management. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
