This is an exciting opportunity to join a housing association dedicated to providing quality homes throughout North Yorkshire.

Your responsibilities

Take charge of implementing our Community Engagement Strategy.

Lead the execution of the Positive Neighbourhood Management Policy, effectively addressing reports of minor neighbour conflicts and disturbances.

Coordinate additional support for residents when necessary, collaborating with specialized officers to offer the required assistance.

Act as a representative for tenants regarding their inquiries and take suitable actions.

Engage proactively within our communities to gain a comprehensive understanding of residents, neighborhoods, and our properties, while closely collaborating with other organizations.

Adopt a proactive stance in managing planned, cyclical, environmental, and tenancy-related matters, ensuring that residents and partners are kept informed of developments.

Contribute to crime reduction and alleviating concerns about safety by fostering connections with the Community Safety Team, law enforcement, and other relevant entities.

Conduct regular inspections of estates and communal areas, prioritizing follow-up actions related to fire safety assessments.

What you will need to excel

Excellent communication abilities with prior experience in a customer-focused role within a challenging environment.
Proven track record of meeting performance objectives.
Familiarity with computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
The capability to establish, nurture, and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and partner organizations.
Strong analytical and interpretative skills.
