Job Title: Group Political Content Editor

DeHavilland Information Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Group Political Content Editor to join our team. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and leading the editorial and style for written, live, and video content across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Management:
    • Deliver high-quality content as outlined in the content calendar.
    • Lead a team responsible for proofing all non-monitoring work produced by our organization.
    • Develop and oversee joint style guides for our brands.
    • Manage content delivery at major events.
    • Copy-edit social media and marketing materials as needed.
    • Serve as the content lead for product developments.
    • Collaborate with our policy teams to capture and develop content ideas.
    • Seek client feedback to drive content improvement.
    • Maintain our organization's databases.
  • Management and Training:
    • Upskill and develop our policy teams in written, digital, visual, video, and event content.
    • Conduct regular training sessions online and in-person with all parts of the business.
    • Play a key role in the onboarding process for new policy team members.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in public affairs, politics, journalism, or content roles.
  • Extensive experience in commissioning and overseeing written, visual, and audio projects.
  • Excellent sub-editing and proofing skills.
  • Edit political content produced by analysts working at the forefront of British and European politics.
  • Contribute significantly to the development of our analysts' writing skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced, growing company with opportunities for career development.
  • Make a significant impact on our content strategy and client engagement.
