Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Manager to join our team at Redmore Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation of health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Support company SHEQ initiatives and drive a proactive approach to accident prevention.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, such as the HSE and NRW.
  • Conduct site inspections and investigations to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare the company for audits, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead and manage a team of SHEQ professionals to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a SHEQ management role, preferably in the waste industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate results delivery and provide detailed information sharing at all levels.
  • Experience of managing a team and leading change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ISO accreditation and risk management methodologies.
